Saint John the Baptist, Coventry
Although the church dates from 1344 the area only became a parish in it's own right in 1734. St John's covers the Spon Lane area. Here where clusters of old courtyards and tenements where the local cottage industries of Watchmaking and Ribbon Weaving were carried out.
