Ellen Asbury Widow 74 b. North Wales Rhulabon Denb'
*******************************************************************
in the 1881 Census She is Listed with her Son in Law Joseph Bown
Ellen Asbury Mother in law 82 b. Bilston Staffs

This must be one and the same person.
The reason for her obvious confusion is likely to be that she spent most of her life at Bilston
There was a considerable Welsh community in the Hill Fields area of Bilston working the Bradeley coal and ironstone mines.

It is also interesting to note that their are a number of Polesworth and Baddesley families in Bilston noted in the 1851 census viz. Albrighton, Asbury (Ashbury Asperry etc) and Lawrence.
